But that’s not even the worst of it. George can talk to corpses! Or rather, the dead insist on talking to him. And they nag about everything! How their hair should be styled, whether they should be cremated, how their inheritance should be divided. They never stop. That’s why George has promised himself never to go down into the basement or respond to them. But when Live joins his class, George faces his biggest challenge yet. To prove that he can be a true friend, he has to break his own vow: George must go down into the basement.
