Toril Moi

Since her groundbreaking debut with Sexual/Textual Politics in 1985, she has been regarded as one of the leading literary theorists of her generation. In addition to being an internationally recognized scholar and an influential author, she is a highly sought-after lecturer both within and beyond Norway’s borders, and a frequent contributor to public discourse.

She currently holds the position of James B. Duke Professor of Literature and Romance Studies at Duke University in the United States.
