Thor Gotaas

Gotaas has a cand.philol. degree from the University of Oslo, where he handed in his thesis on "Attitudes to the travelers (Gypsies) in a historical perspective" in 1993.

As a folklorist he takes a special interest in changing attitudes, whether they be historical, geographical or social.

He is an author, lectures and works part-time as a history teacher at Heltberg Senior High School in Oslo.
