Karin Brynildsen
Karin Bang (b. 1928) is best known for the historical novels she wrote in the 1970’s and -80’s. e.g. the two Jutøy novels (1978 and 1981) and the trilogy Legacy and Debt (1973, 1974 and 1979). The Residents at Gidske is her first novel for adults since the autobiographical From the Life of Bookworms (1985) and a fine way to celebrate her 85th birthday.
